He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Swigart and Laura Swigart (Leibrand); his wife Joyce; his siblings, Lester Ackerly, Dale Swigart and Kathryn Wagner; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin Fisher, Sheldon French, Robert Espigh, Jean Espigh and Anna Yoder.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Loren Wagner, Ruth Fisher and Thelma French; his children, Kim Cassara (Bill) and Mike Swigart (Brenda); his grandchildren, David Stilwell, Cody Swigart (Rachel), Dixon Cassara (Juliane) and Paige Cassara; and his great grandchild Serafina Cassara.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Christ Community United Methodist Church, Butler, PA.
