He is survived by: his wife Helen Hortert; his children, Sheri Wilson of Butler and Donald Hortert, Jr. (Yakuan) of Pensacola; and his sisters, Dorothy Beblo of Butler and Julia Lacuesta of Butler. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
