With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Mae Henderson of Butler, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Mae Henderson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Howard "Muck" White and Ruth Naomi White (Robinson); her husbands, Charles Henderson Sr. and Rev Henderson; her son Artis T. Johnson; and her siblings, Maxine McCall, Beverly White, Shirley Johnson, Richard, William, James and Walter White.

She is survived by : her daughter Terri L. Johnson; her stepdaughter Cordelia Ann Henderson; her sons, Charles Henderson Jr. (Kyong Cha) and Timothy P. Henderson; and her sister Dorothy Smith. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home, Ltd. (127 W Jefferson St, Butler, PA 16003). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
