He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Smith and Dorothy June Smith (Shay); his wife Shirley Smith (Crissman); his daughter Shirley; and his siblings, Carl Smith, Ruth Gaggini and Linda.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Sherry; his daughters, Sherry Burka (Tim) of Lyndora and Shawnee Fitz (Mick) of Petrolia; and his siblings, Wayne Smith of Worthington and Ester Neupert of Worthington.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home (119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa). A masonic service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
