He was predeceased by: his mother Merle Shearer; and his brother Merle Shearer Jr. (Marianne). He is survived by: his wife Marianne Shearer (Fisher); his sons, Brian Shearer (Jill) of Butler and Ryan Shearer (Melissa) of West Sunbury; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Noah, Evan and Gabrielle; his brother Jack Shearer (Diane) of Richmond; and his sister-in-law Eileen Shearer of Sarver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
