She was predeceased by: her uncle Drew Brewster; her grandparents, Miriam McCall and James Brewster; and her stepgrandfather Robert McCall. She is survived by: her parents, Dennis Kerr of Butler and Nancy Christy (Brewster); her son Robert David Slater of Butler; her stepfather Donald Christy of Butler; and her uncle Renwick Brewster of Bridgewater, NJ. She is also survived by three cousins.
