We announce the death of Jeannette Lucille Hoover of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 88. Jeannette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd McRae Sr. and Evelyn Coulter McRae; her husband Wayne Lewis Hoover; and her sister Rose Evans. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn "Lynnie" Burkert (Jeff) of Chicora, Sherrie Heist (Tim) of Vale, N. C. and Tracie Irwin (Brad) of Rootstown, Ohio; and her siblings, Ella Downing of Payette, Phyllis Brewington (Frank) of Gresham, Oregon and Lloyd McRae, Jr. (Klista) of Baker City, Oregon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (429 Center Ave, Butler, PA 16001). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
