He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ken" Hillwig and Dorothy "Evelyn" Hillwig. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hillwig (Stutz); his son Gary Hillwig (Tiffiny); his brother Dennis Hillwig (Rita); and his grandchildren, Chelsey Phipps (Wyatt) and Kaylene Hillwig. He is also survived by 3 brothers-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law, and a number of nieces and nephews.
