He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Charles McKain and Alice Miller McKain; and his former wife Mary Jane "Janie" Niggel McKain. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Nichter Glasgo McKain; his children, Jon Kevin, Judy Lynn Connelly of Butler, JoAnn Nakles (Daniel) of Pittsburgh, James Arden "Jim" McKain (Margie) of Natrona Heights and Jeffry Curtis McKain (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Danielle McKain (Chris Orth), Sean McKain (Laura), Caitlyn Connelly, Maura Rethage (Michael), Michael Connelly (Michaela), Hannah Lucas (Justin), Alyssa Richardson (Cassidy), Molly McManus (Hugh), Madeline Peace (Jonathan), Millie Cowoski (Shane), Maggie Samuels (Richard), John "Jack" McKain (Caroline), Josie McKain and Jensen McKain. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (201 E Cunningham St, Butler, PA 16001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Rd., Butler, PA 16001, or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.
