She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shaffer and Mildred Shaffer (Catteau); her husband John Lingenfelter; and her son-in-law Eugene W. Christy. She is survived by: her children, Loree Rumbel (Jesse), Amy Christy (Eugene) and John Lingenfelter (Helen); her grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Eugene Christy III, Stephen (Sabrina), Gavin Lingenfelter (Kalie), Thomas (Chris), Jason and John Rumbel; and her great grandchildren, Eric, Shelby, Haley, Piper, Cole, Ava, Nolan, Adley and Ashton.
A reception was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church (200 Faith Way, Butler, PA 16001).
Due to the family's wishes, no flowers please, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, in honor of Lois.
