She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar J. Portman and Ruth Nebel Portman; her husband Roy U. McDevitt; and her siblings, Norma Jean Portman Leyland and Richard "Dick" Portman.
She is survived by: her children, Geary R. McDevitt of Butler and Christine Bridges (Thomas) of Prospect; her brother Albert Joseph "A. J." Portman of Butler; and her grandchildren, Danielle McDevitt Ross of Jacksonville, N. C., Eric McDevitt of Anchorage, Ryan McDevitt of Lickingville, Calley Bridges Perrino of Denver, Colo and Brandon Bridges of Reston. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (201 E Cunningham St, Butler, PA 16001). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church (128 N McKean St, Butler, PA 16001).
