We announce the death of Mary A. Tirk of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McLafferty and Ethel Bauldoff McLafferty; her husband George R. Tirk; her son-in-law Tim Hoffman; her brothers, Jim, Ed, Gary and George McLafferty; and her sisters-in-law, Helen McLafferty of Cabot and Carmella McLafferty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Kuzora (Tom) of Slippery Rock, Kelli Hoffman of Butler and Lori Weitzel (Braden) of Butler; her grandchildren, Braden Weitzel (Carly), Garrett Weitzel (Tonya), Allison Kuzora (Josh Miller), Danny Kuzora and Courtney Wigton (Alex); her stepgrandchildren, Abbie Hoffman, Stephanie Hoffman and Ben Hoffman (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Elijah Weitzel and Walker Wigton; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Bella, Michael, Danny, Timothy and Grayson Hoffman; and her sister-in-law Nancy McLafferty of Saxonburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
