Merril A. Moses Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merril A. Moses of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merril A. Moses to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Moses and Mary Haddad Moses; his wife Jane McClelland Moses; and his son Michael D. Moses. He is survived by: his children, Larry Moses (Kim) of Butler, Tom Moses (Deb) of Princeton, N. J., Tim Moses (Maryanne Puente) of Butler, Sarah Monteleone (Gregg) of Stevens and Dr. Mary Moses (Bill Ermatinger, Jr.) of Naples, Fla.; his grandchildren, Robert Moses, Jordan Moses, Nathan Moses (Adrienne), Cara Moses, Molly Moses, Maggie Moses, Ryan Monteleone, Nicholas Monteleone and Will Ermatinger, III; and his great grandchild Lucy Moses.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (201 E Cunningham St, Butler, PA 16001). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church (128 N McKean St, Butler, PA 16001).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to either Butler Catholic School, 515 E. Locust St., Butler, PA 16001 or to The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc. using The Kids' Weekend Backpack Program in the memo line.
