She was predeceased by : her parent Clair Thomas Covert; her husband John Herman; and her siblings, Raymond L. Covert and Hazel Craig. She is survived by : her daughter Pamela Neff (Steve Clutter) of Marion Center; her grandchildren, Tammy Daugherty (Jason Ross), Brad Covert (Corri), Steven Grossbauer (Jamie) and John Grossbauer; and her sister Blanche L. Covert of Butler. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
