He was predeceased by: his father William Scanlon; his sister Christine Witte (Ron Witte); and his brother-in-law Doug Sanders. He is survived by: his mother Joan Scanlon (Price); his children, Pat Scanlon, Bret Scanlon, Amanda Fronheiser (Ryan Fronheiser) and Brittany Lynn Roberts (Jared Roberts); his grandchildren, Lincoln and Killian Patrick Roberts; and his siblings, Michael Scanlon (Terry Scanlon), Mary Ellen Scanlon, Kathy Sanders and Joanne Schaefer (Doug Schaefer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
