He was predeceased by: his parents, Kilian Staab and Anna Staab; his son Mark; his siblings, Robert and Roseanne Sirianni; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Sirianni, William Darney Jr. and James Darney.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dorothy Darney; his children, Dr. Jeffrey (Sara) of Rochester, MN, Elaine Szwed (Daniel) of Butler, David (Kathy) of State College, PA, Daniel (Amy) of Lucas, TX, Paula (Rick Dillingham) of Newberg, OR, Thomas (Jackie) of Carnegie, PA, Douglas (Deanna Perry) of Walla Walla, WA and Brian (Savonn Wyland) of Portland, OR.; his grandchildren, Mark Staab (Courtnay), Erin Staab, Jill Szwed, Kelly Szwed, April Staab, Anna Staab, Isaak Staab and Emma Staab; his great grandchildren, Hayden Staab and Callan Staab; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Staab, Carol Darney and Phyllis Darney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
