He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph Powers and Catherine McHugh Powers; his siblings, Mary, Ed, Jim, Margaret "Mickey", Bob, Betsy, Helen and David "Sam"; and his daughter Barbara.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom (Sheila), Mike (Anna Marie), Terry (Amy) of Butler, Dennis (Carol) of Abingdon and Bob (MaryBeth) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Bronya, Jacynda (Jair), Jocelyn (Doug), Bridgette (Pete), Nicholas, Stephen of Jacob, A. J. and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Jaelyn, Lylie and Jair Jr.. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (201 E Cunningham St, Butler, PA 16001). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (127 Franklin St, Butler, PA 16001).
