He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Christy and Marian J. Christy (Covert); and his grandparents, Clifford, Ethel Covert, Robert and Pearl Christy of East Butler.
He is survived by: his brother Terry L. Christy (Helen); his aunt Anna Mae Webb (Gene); his nephew Jeremy J. Chisty (Lidija); his niece Elizabeth M. Noysser (Ebrahim); his great-nephews, Luca Christy and Adrian Noysser; and his cousins, Donald E. Webb (Tana), Corry Webb and Amanda Webb.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Miller Funeral Home (124 E North St, Butler, PA 16001).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels, 218 East Jefferson Street, Butler PA 16001 in memory of Robert James Christy.
