He was predeceased by: his parents, Deemer Heginbotham and Ruth Heginbotham (John); his wife E. Marlene Heginbotham (Blair); his daughter Tammy L. Hilman; and his siblings, Wayne, Charles, John, James Heginbotham and Kathleen Shirley (Toy).
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey S. Heginbotham (Deborah) of Kittanning and Cheryl A. Mallory (Gregory) of Kittanning. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
