We announce the death of Mary Margaret Kriley Carbin of Cabot, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 94. Mary Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Kriley and Marie Gillespie Kriley; her husband Victor B. "Jim" "Speedy" Carbin; her grandson Kevin Jesteadt (Lindsey Myers); her sons-in-law, Dale Cornetti and Ben Cypher; and her siblings, Eva Mae Kriley, Leonard Kriley, Helen Grence, Aline Pavlek Goodrich, Floyd Kriley, Adrian Kriley, Father Victor Kriley and Cap.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Cornetti of Saxonburg, Catherine Maser (Larry) of Butler, Mary Lou Cypher of Saxonburg, Maria Gildea (Matt) of Belchertown, Mass. and Patricia Gall (Walter) of Butler; her grandchildren, James Carbin (Linda) of Melbourne, Fla., Raymond Carbin of Saxonburg, Randal Carbin of Southgate, Stephen Carbin (Sherry) of Buford, Brian Jesteadt (Eva), Jason Jesteadt (Meghan), Veronica Cornetti, Joseph Cornetti (Samantha), Benjamin Cypher (Melissa), Jarrett Carbin, Brandon Carbin, Sarah Bowser (Ryan), Taylor Alvarez (Michael), Madison Sellers (Chris), Meghan Gildea, Monica Gildea, Karley Hatz (Nathan), Mary Gall (Brody Baker), Heather Gall, Emily Gall and Natalie Gall; her stepgrandsons, Gregory Maser (Melisse), Benjamin Maser (Joanne) and David Maser; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lucas Jesteadt, Hanna, Ryan Cornetti, Rylee, Reagan and Remington Cypher; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Olivia Maser and Hayden Smith; her siblings, Sister Frances, Pearl Kocher, Rita Snyder and John Kriley; and her sister-in-law Patricia Kriley. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (201 E Cunningham St, Butler, PA 16001). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (821 Herman Rd, Butler, PA 16002).
