With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn LaBute (California, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Walker and Bertha M. Walker of Hamilton, OH.; her husband Daniel Lee LaBute of California, PA; and her brother Richard Walker (Carol). She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Bloss (Ronald) of Front Royal, VA, Doris Wadsworth (John) of Perryopolis, PA, Karen Harris (Charles) of Malden, PA, Lisa Borden (Jack) of Bluffton, SC and Paula Tirpak (Kenneth) of Lake Worth, FL.; her grandchildren, Jaclyn Bloss-Bell (Brian), Russell Bloss (Shannon), John Wadsworth (Maria), Bradden Wadsworth, Daniel Wadsworth (Alexis), Jesse, Aaron Harris (Jessica), Ethan (Allie), Sadie Quint, Zachary Tirpak (Taylor), Meredith Prendes (Nick) and Julia Mkwane (Kappie); and her brother Bill Walker (Rosemary). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc. (323 4th St, California, PA 15419). A prayer will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM and at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the California United Methodist Church (227 3rd St, California, PA 15419). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Phillipsburg Cemetery.
