We announce the death of Jacquelyn Meier of Callensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 90. Jacquelyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Craig and Lottie Craig (Stover); her husband Paul Meier; her siblings, Lois Stahlman, Becky Harkless, Henrietta Palaggo, Margaret Baun (Dean), Roy Craig (Toe), Bill Craig (WP) and Donald Craig (Chirp); and her former husband John Richard Benn.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Benn of Callensburg and Richard Benn (Dicki) of Callensburg; her sister Sally Hosey of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jillian Lyle (Cody) of Limestone and Brandon Minich (Mikeala) of Gibsonia; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Cooper Lyle, Izabella and Brandon Minich Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (1632 Bald Eagle St, Sligo, PA 16255). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
