He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton E. Hughes and Ann Marie Hughes (Kauffman); his wife Patricia Hughes (Gessner); his sons, Jason A. Hughes (Emily) of Etters and Michael P. Hughes (Jess) of Lewisberry; and his grandchildren, Phoenix, Rorie and Towsyn. He was also cherished by "Pop Pop" to his three grandchildren.
