He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Shoop and Anna M. Shoop (Brandt); his daughter Judith Ann Shoop; and his siblings, Raymond A. Shoop, Jr., Donald Shoop, Margaret Shoop-Johnson, Dorothy Shoop-Snyder, Mary Shoop-Krow and Rachael Shoop-Young.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Diffenderfer-Shoop; his daughters, Cynthia Sheaffer (Robert) of Casper and Lisa Myers (Brad) of Shiremanstown; and his brother Lester B. Shoop of Camp Hill.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scottish Rite Cathedral (2701 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A masonic service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Rolling Green Cemetery (1811 Carlisle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011).
