Richard L. Placey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, Richard L. Placey (Camp Hill, Pennsylvania), born in Steelton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann T. Placey (Matkovic) and Anthony S. Placey; and his wife Rose Teresa Sawyer. He is survived by: his children, Richard Placey (Carol Swanson), Rosanne (Michael Sunajko), Thomas Placey (Helene) and Edward Placey (Deb); and his granddaughters, Madeline and Caroline. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (3435 Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
