He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Ida (Myers) and Charles Gitt, Sr.; and his wife Kathy M. "Kack" Gitt (Deihl). He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Reynolds (Chuck) of Mechanicsburg and Tina Fox of Camp Hill; his siblings, Charles Gitt, Jr. (JoAnn) of Dillsburg, Leilani Stamm of Carlisle and Kirk Gitt (Pam) of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Samantha, Matt and Malcolm; his great grandchildren, Dean, Arlo and Eleanor; and his stepgrandchildren, Logan, Wade and Cody.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiremanstown First Church of God.
