She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hainly and Lillie Mae Hainly (Bolan); her husband Robert D. Steily; and her close friend Joseph Meizen. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Phillippy (Douglas) and Donna Fletcher (Keith); her sister Marian Becker; and her grandchildren, Jared Harper (Laura), Michael Phillippy (Briana), Lauren Kincer (Taylor), Matthew Phillippy (Joanna) and Mark Phillippy (Jacque). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
