Cynthia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Cynthia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vanderweel and Mary Vanderweel (Thomson); her brothers, Samuel Vanderweel and Julius Schratt; and her significant other John "Jake" Jacobsen.
She is survived by: her daughter Lyndsay M. Vanderweel (Jeff) of Canadensis; and her grandchildren, Joshua and Avery.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion (3407 Spruce Cabin Rd, Cresco, PA 18326).
