With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Taylor of Canadensis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Walter Taylor; his wife Deborah Anne Meyerl; his brother Jeffrey Taylor; and his grandson Zachary Klein. He is survived by: his mother Claire Evelyn Taylor (McLaughlin); his children, Cynthia A. Southard of Cresco, Michael J. Taylor of Hollidaysburg and Heather M. Taylor of Hollidaysburg; his grandchildren, Brittany Southard, Jeremy Dugan, Emily Taylor, Cory Dugan (Skhiler Smith), John Southard, III, Maggie Dugan (James West), Madison Smith (Blake) and Destiny Taylor; his great grandchild Paisley Smith; and his siblings, Joyce Brand (Charles) of Florida, Christi Kirkwood (Denny) of Tyrone and Jay Taylor (Carol) of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
