He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Aiken; his former wife Peggy; and his brother Edward Aiken. He is survived by: his father Robert Aiken; his wife JoAnn Aiken (Rubino); his daughters, Melanie Wilson (Kevin) and Jamey Lee Cross (Donnie) of Patrick's School; his stepson Michael T. Moore (Wendy); his grandchildren, Morgan, Allison, Leia, Jordan and Aiden; and his siblings, Daniel Aiken, Thomas Aiken (Elizabeth), Leland Aiken (Andrea), Donna Aiken and Diane Aiken. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
