George Pankas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Pankas of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrios Pankas and Tsambika Pankas (Kiriazis); and his brothers, Sam J. Pankas and John D Pankas. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Pankas (Regas); his daughters, Stephanie Zeremenko of Canonsburg and Betsy Sideris (Gary) of Astoria, NY; his sister Stella "Beba" Velisaris (George) of Canonsburg; his sisters-in-law, Lynda Pankas (Sam) of Bridgeville and Carole Pankas (John) of Canonsburg; and his grandchildren, Amalea Sideris, Anthony Sideris, Alexa Zeremenko, Giorgiana Zeremenko and James Zeremenko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
