He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Bacon and Elizabeth Bacon; his wife Janice Rosalie Thomas Bacon; and his adoptive father Joe "Chip" Winstead. He is survived by: his children, Prudence E. Bacon-Benson (Douglas Plum), Spencer C Bacon (Karen A.) and Jules S. C. Bacon (Karen L. Mejia). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
