He is survived by: his wife Nancy Merckle; his children, Jack Merckle Jr. and Vickie Wagner (Bob); his grandchildren, Bob Wagner Jr. (Tiffany), Chad Wagner, Jack Merckle III, Jessie Merckle and Blake Merckle; and his great grandchildren, Troy Wagner, Brody Wagner, Jack Merckle IV, Charlie Merckle and Millie Merckle.
