He was predeceased by: his father John R. Simko Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Carless Simko; his wife Dawn Mayberry Simko; his sons, Brandon Mayberry and Samuel Simko; his siblings, Michael Simko and Lorie Strennen (Jerry); his niece Abigail Strennen; and his nephew Zachary Strennen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John R. Simko Huntington Learning Center Scholarship Fund, established in recognition of John's commitment to helping students realize their academic potential.
