She was predeceased by: her parents, John Surow and Evelyn Welch Surow Braun; and her husband Nicholas C. Matich. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Michiels (Chris) of Chalfont and Thomas Matich (Kelly) of Greentree; her grandchildren, Sofia, Marissa Michiels, Alex and T. J. Matich; and her siblings, Jean Cholak (Richard) of Meadowlands, Joan Susko (Michael) of Houston, Nancy Penvose, Janet Sasek and Jeffrey Braun. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
