Margaret Rose Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 6, 2026, at the age of 53, Margaret Rose Smith of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Margaret departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Margaret leaves behind.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barbara Goforth Smith of Canonsburg, PA and Albert Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Jessica Blough, Abigail Smith, Zoe Smith, Ashley Garrett, Matthew Smith, Joel D. Melendez, Andrew Melendez and Christina Melendez. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family welcomes memorial donations to Cornelia De Lange Foundation in place of flowers.
