He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mullig and Augusta Cargnello Mullig; and his former wife Mary Jane Miller Mullig. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Miklic of Washington; his children, Michael (Donna) of North Huntingdon, Marianne Taich of Tampa, Maureen Sullivan (Brian) of Chicago, Mont (Laurie) of Atlanta, Robert of Chicago, Suzanne Scott (Olen) of Denver and Amy Antonio (Craig) of Peters Township; his niece Carol D'Angelo (Regis) of Pittsburgh; his nephew Steven Germadnik; and his siblings, Isadore (Izzy), Ernesta DelCorso, Cynthia Germadnik, Lulu, Louise and Valentia Mullig. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (304 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A prayer was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 9:40 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Calendar Queen of Heaven Cemetery (2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, Pittsburgh, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Staten Island, N.Y.
