She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Smith and Goldie Smith (Noble). She is survived by: her granddaughter Amanda Ingram; her great grandchildren, Damien and McKenna; her nephews, Joseph "Sunny" Miller (Vicki) and Victor Miller; her sons, Glenn L. Smith and Richard Sturgill; and her siblings, Nany Bell, Dorothy Crowe, Mary Lou Whipkey, George, Boyd, John, Glenn and Kenneth Smith.
Her heart was particularly dedicated to helping military families through her active participation in Gold Star Mothers Inc., as well as her contributions to the Library Veterans Association and Post 175 of the American Legion in Washington, PA.
