It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita (Trafton) Melson of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Trafton and Rita Trafton (Crothers). She is survived by: her close friend John "Jack" McConughay; her daughters, Wendy Talmonti (Doug) and Tracy Melson; her grandchildren, Crystal Hopkins (Mike), Melissa Kelley (Shane), Dylan McMonagle, Meghan Kelley and Jakob McMonagle; her great grandchildren, William, Dominick and Elizabeth; and her brothers, Harold, Marvin and Mark Trafton.
