Walter C. Weaver Obituary
In loving memory of Walter C. Weaver of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on May 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Walter leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Weaver and Betty Weaver (Glass); and his brother Daniel Lee Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Weaver (Melonic); his children, Mark Weaver (Mary-Rachael) of Washington, PA, Paul Weaver (Rachael) of Rio, WV, Justin Weaver of Sharpsburg, PA and Clare Orwig (Scott) of Pierce, NE; his stepsons, Trevor Handyside (Tracey) of Melbourne, FL and Brent Handyside (Terra) of Canonsburg, PA; and his sister Jean Moran (Nick) of Palmyra. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (304 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A prayer was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 9:40 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St Patrick Church - St. Oscar (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Walt's honor to the St. Vincent Seminary of Latrobe, PA or to St. Patrick's Church in Canonsburg, PA.
