Barbara A. (Hamm) Chilson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. (Hamm) Chilson of Canton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hamm and Geraldine Hamm Parks (Hatch); her daughter Kathy May; her grandson Hudson; and her siblings, Paul, Howard and Pauline.
She is survived by: her husband Max Chilson; her siblings, Eunice Haflett of Wellsboro, Audrey "Polly" Vanderhoff (Larry) of Elmira, Bonnie Lathrop (Harold "Skeet") of Florida and Arthur "Pete" Hamm (Mona) of Canton; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, great great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Chilson's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
