She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Dempsey (Sullivan) and Clinton Dempsey Sr.; her husband John Knecht; her sisters, Mary Jane and Joyce Marie Dempsey; and her parents-in-law, Wilson "Willy" Knecht and Helen Knecht.
She is survived by: her son John Knecht (Margaret); her grandchildren, Emily of Canton and Wilson Knecht of Canton; her siblings, Pamela Douglas of Brookville, Barbara Miller of Brookville, Deborah Dempsey of Brookville, William Dempsey Jr. of Brookville and Michael Dempsey of Brookville; her sister-in-law Susan Strong (Stanley) of Canton; her nephew Aaron Lineberry; and her great-nephews, Aaron Lineberry Jr. of Wyalusing, Thomas Lineberry of Wyalusing and Jacob Lineberry of Wyalusing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bonnie's name may be directed to Pepper Funeral Home to help with her final expenses.
