With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire M. Lewis of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Heenan and Mildred Heenan (O'Connor); and her siblings, Mary Heenan, Jane Tolerico, Marcella Smith, Thomas, Jack, James, Roger and Joseph Heenan.
She is survived by: her close friend Joseph Zaccone; and her brothers, Ray Heenan (Bea) of Texas and Pat Heenan (Judy) of Carbondale, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (89 Farview St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (15 Fallbrook St, Carbondale, PA 18407). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (400 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
