He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Miller Thomas; his parents, John Thomas and Margaret Shaffer Thomas; and his son-in-law Jim "Bopper" McMyne. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna McMyne, Debra Cerra (Mike) and Joyce Bognatz (Stanley); his grandchildren, Jim McMyne (Melanie), Donny McMyne (Katie), Tim McMyne, Erica Loftus (Ryan), Michael Cerra (Cristina), Jeffrey Cerra (Christy), Matthew Cerra, Kevin Cerra (Rebecca), Emily Erb (Patrick), Alicia Bognatz (Brian McCarthy), Ashley Bognatz and Katelyn Venezio (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Declan, Harper McMyne, Colin, Kyla Loftus, Liliana, Cameron, Lucas, Gavin, Ava, Lorenzo Cerra, Benjamin, Cora Erb, Michael and Maia Venezio.
