He was predeceased by: his father Gerald J. Critchley, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Davis; his mother Marian Mikloiche Critchley; his siblings, William Critchley, Michael Critchley (Kelly Knick) and Patricia Gilroy (PJ); and his siblings' children, May Ellen Stanton and James Wiggins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc. (55 Lincoln Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (6 N Church St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (412 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
