We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joan L. Acquisto of Carbondale, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Acquisto and Anna Chamaglichella Acquisto of Calcutta; her siblings, Jane Brownell and Anthony Acquisto; and her nephew James J. Brownell.
She is survived by: her caregiver Jill Brownell; and her nieces, Donna Laury and Anita Regan. She is also survived by several great nieces and a great nephew.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (15 Fallbrook St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
