He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Moran and Mabel Packer Moran; his son John C. Moran; and his siblings, Betty, Charles, Thomas Walter, Katherine and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Rusek Moran; his daughters, Susan Moran (Lawrence Buckley) and Marianne Moran; his close friend Quinn Tracy; and his siblings, Grace Newcomb, Joseph Moran (Cathy), Margaret Calzola (Albert) and James Moran.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc. (55 Lincoln Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (6 N Church St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the St. Rose Cemetery (53 Pearl St, Carbondale, PA 18407).
