She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Nicoll and Maude Nesbit Nicoll; her husband Donald E. Frey; her grandson Kent Dimmig; and her brother William Nicoll.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Dimmig (Douglas), Molly Virbitsky (Thomas) and Nell Striefsky (Jim); and her grandchildren, Devin, Darci Dimmig, Stephanie (Alex), Allison, Jeffrey, Lily Virbitsky, Tyler and Sophia Striefsky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center at splcenter.org or Hawai'i's People Fund to benefit victims of the Maui wildfires at hawaiipeoplesfund.networkforgood.com/projects/200566-maui-aloha-the-people-s-response-fund.
