With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Burke of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John G. "Mickey" Burke; her parents, Harold J. Farrell and Lydia A. Kirkwood Farrell; and her brothers, Robert, Joseph and John Farrell.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Olivia; her caregiver Mary Elizabeth Burke; her sons, Thomas Burke of Carbondale, Gerald Burke (Michele) of Carbondale and James Burke (Melissa) of Carbondale; her grandchildren, Melanie, Jared, Colin Burke and Dr. Olivia (Landon Gabriel); her great grandchild Reid James Gabriel of New Haven, CT; and her sister-in-law Rosemarie Burke Kennedy.
