Mary Chervanka Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Chervanka of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell J. Chervanka; and her parents, Joseph Teeple and Mary Mullen Teeple. She is survived by: her children, John M. Chervanka (Lisa Phillips-Chervanka) and Michelle T. Barnard; her grandchildren, Paige Cleveland (Cole), Emily Chervanka (Kenny Huber), Drew Chervanka and Cole Chervanka; her great grandchildren, Beckham and Blaire Cleveland; her siblings, Joseph A. Teeple and Jane A. Teeple; her son-in-law Charles Barnard; and her close friend Agnes Murray. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc. (55 Lincoln Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (412 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cottage Hose Ambulance Corps, 2 Greenfield Road, Carbondale, Pa. 18407.
